EilReplus has developed a state-of-the-art steel Yankee dryer designed to significantly improve heat-exchange efficiency. At the heart of this solution is a grooved shell made from special high-performance steel, mounted on steel heads and forged steel journals. The shell is finished with a hard metallization coating that provides a surface hardness of 550 HB, ensuring durability and excellent wear resistance.
The steel Yankees from EilReplus feature a bolted-head construction that has proven highly reliable, delivering excellent performance and stable crown behaviour across a wide range of operating pressures. This design ensures consistent drying quality even under demanding production conditions.
To optimize heat transfer, the inner surface of the shell is specially grooved. This is complemented by a multipole header condensate-removal system equipped with double-row conical soda straws, which enhances condensate extraction and further improves overall heat-exchange efficiency.
EilReplus Yankees are available in diameters ranging from 2,500 mm up to 4,877 mm, with no limitations on face length. They are engineered to operate at pressures up to 10 bar and can handle the linear loads required by shoe-press applications, making them suitable for all types of tissue paper machines.
